Rypien’s Daughter Throws 3 TDs in Debut

Angela Rypien, daughter of former Washington State star and Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien, threw three touchdowns in the Seattle Mist’s 42-8 victory over the Green Bay Chill this weekend in the Lingerie Football League – her debut in the league.

Don’t get too excited for Rypien, who was just 6-of-16 passing for 81 yards. However, she made her completions count, tossing three scores without an interception. Oh, and she also picked up a personal foul penalty for a cheap shot after the play.

But hey, as her father no doubt would tell her, a quarterback is measured by one important stat: Wins.

    I know they were going to start Lingerie football, but I never knew when I realy would like to support it, it looks very entertaining, I know Baltimore have a team , but what I don’t know is when and where do they play it no media coverage. I’ll do the best I can to keep up with it.

    I was channel surfing when I came across a game, thought it might just be a show.
    these ladies are football players they hit hard and take hits just like in in the NFL. You don’t see the uniforms they are wearing when you see them play, they are players not just eye candy.

    we need to get rid of the NFL they want to much,give them 50.000 a year and see how they play they won’t.People are out there losing there home”s dose the NFL care, not really as long as they make there 4,000,000 plus a year per player how many homes could that save or could that create job to help the poor.for my self i don’t care i”m almost dead anyway but you and the NBA can help others that need it.Show the world and have a heart and tell them you care about them and sports

    You know folks, this just athletes playing a game which happens to be the number one spectator sport in America. Cut them some slack. Sure they are women and they are like most women, a thing of beauty created for this world just like anything else. Someone, somewhere obviously feels that this is a good investment as they went to the trouble and expense of forming a league; not cheap, and not something done without considerable thought and research. May I ask please what the difference is here, as opposed to Beach Volleyball or Tennis or Professional Wrestling? All legitimate sports that have been around for quite some time. If you have such a terrible problem seeing a beautiful and talented women playing a game, them you have some personal issues that could use a bit of introspection… or counseling?

    I got to know one of the Quarterbacks in the LFL her name is Krystal Gray who played for the Chicago Bliss then the NY Majesty and then to the expansion team Baltimore. Krystal is a warm, loving and caring individisual who loves not only playing football but all sports but she somehow finds time to look after her family and ill mother. In June of 2009 I decided to start a girls flag football league for two age groups in Southern Virginia. I had went down to Gibsonville and helped Torry Holt with his youth Football camp which he holds every year in his home town of Gibsonville North Carolina. While I was down there I met a group of people who were the ones responsible for putting on the Holt Brothers Camp. They were also the group that run the NFL flag football leagues of America and they were going to help me get my leagues started. Krystal volunterred to come down and be a guest speaker and help me with the tryouts and draft but for my unfortunate health problem and lack of county support I had to let it go. Krystal is a great person and a heck of a athlete and those girls really go at it on the football field the games are really good no matter what they wear, watch one it will surprise you.
