‘Honey Badger’ Drink Gets Introduced

“Honey Badger” might not care, but some New Orleans and Baton Rouge bars care enough to name a drink after star LSU cornerback Tyrann Mathieu.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that the “Honey Badger” drink is a shot of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey Whiskey dropped into a Bandit Blonde beer (the official LSU brew, of course) and is served in the Bayou.

“I’m not sure who came up with it,” Darin Smith, the general manager of Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar near Tiger Stadium, told the WSJ. “Word gets around Baton Rouge pretty quick.”

As if LSU fans needed another reason to get hammered.
